MineTracer is an integrated wireless communication and tracking system designed specifically for use in underground mines. MineTracer was developed to address the MINER Act and West Virginia Rules for communication-tracking equipment. The installed coverage area is completely flexible - ranging from 100% travel-entry and work area coverage to zonal coverage. In the event of an accident, the system operates on battery power continuously for at least 48 hours after the loss of AC power in the mine. Every component of the MineTracer system has been approved by MSHA for intrinsic safety. |

Through the earth wireless communications. Because it is wireless, there are no expensive cables to install or maintain. Unlike wireless mesh systems, it does not rely on line-of-sight, reducing the costs of installing numerous wireless access points and repeaters. It works with and extends the reach of existing communications and warning systems. It can be deployed at the drill face and in other areas where leaky feeder systems do not exist. |

The Ex One Company provides on-demand prototype and replacement parts with their three dimensional printing (3DP) processes. 3DP builds an object—or mold for an object—layer by layer out of powdered material, a chemical binder and a digital file. For legacy parts, where an engineering drawing or computer-aided design (CAD) file may not be available, scanning techniques can be used to produce the digital file. Complex geometries and internal features not previously able to be machined or cast can be easily manufactured with 3DP. Metal parts in stainless steel and bronze and cast components in virtually any castable material can be delivered in 1-3 weeks. The material can be welded and soldered if needed and anti-corrosion treatments are also available. Ex One offers contract services through their job shop as well as complete 3DP systems for printing metal parts or sand cores and molds. |
